Who we are
Axolotl Impact was founded by Bri, a monitoring and evaluation specialist with more than a decade of experience helping organizations turn data into evidence-based decisions that drive meaningful change. Bri’s work is guided by the values of transparency, creativity, sustainability, and decolonization, and inspired by the resilience and renewal symbolized by the axolotl.
As Head of Impact Measurement and Management at Sweef Capital, Bri has built a platinum-rated framework that measures impact while fostering a learning culture that empowers teams to adapt and maximize positive outcomes. She previously served as a Principal Associate at Pew Charitable Trusts, where she advanced strategic planning across complex portfolios.
Her career spans roles at SEAF’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development, the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), the UN World Food Programme, the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, and the Urban Institute. Across these experiences, Bri has cultivated deep expertise in entrepreneurship, gender inclusion, and clean energy, with a particular passion for equipping women entrepreneurs to solve emerging markets’ greatest challenges.
Through Axolotl Impact, Bri also collaborates with a trusted network of partners and thought leaders from across the development and impact investing ecosystems. This community of peers and collaborators allows her to bring in the right expertise when needed, ensuring each project benefits from the strongest possible mix of perspectives while remaining accessible and practitioner-oriented.
