Who we are

Axolotl Impact was founded by Bri, a monitoring, evaluation, and strategic planning specialist with more than a decade of experience helping organizations turn data and evidence into decisions that guide strategy and improve outcomes. Her work focuses on helping institutions clarify their goals, strengthen learning systems, and align measurement with long term strategy. The values that shape her approach include transparency, creativity, sustainability, and decolonization, inspired by the resilience and renewal symbolized by the axolotl.

Bri currently serves as Head of Impact Measurement and Management at Sweef Capital and as Director of The Sweef Institute, where she leads research, field building, and ecosystem initiatives that advance inclusive and gender responsive investing. At Sweef Capital, she developed a platinum rated impact measurement and management framework that integrates impact considerations directly into investment strategy while fostering a strong culture of learning and adaptation.

She previously served as a Principal Associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she supported strategic planning and organizational learning across complex portfolios. In that role, she helped teams translate ambitious institutional goals into clear theories of change, performance frameworks, and evidence based planning processes.

Her career spans roles at SEAF’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development, the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), the UN World Food Programme, the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, and the Urban Institute. Across these experiences, Bri has developed deep expertise in entrepreneurship, gender inclusion, and clean energy, with a particular interest in how strategic planning and measurement systems can help organizations deliver stronger and more equitable outcomes.

Through Axolotl Impact, Bri also collaborates with a trusted network of advisors and partners across the development and impact investing ecosystems. This model allows her to bring together complementary expertise across strategy, research, and communications, ensuring each engagement benefits from the right mix of perspectives while remaining practical and grounded in real world implementation.
